Membership

Membership of CAUMAC (as an AMaGA national network) is currently open to any individual or organisational member of the Australian Museum and Gallery Association (AMaGA). Once CAUMAC has launched as an independent association, new members will be able to join directly via the Membership page.  Current financial members of CAUMAC at the time of association will automatically have their membership transferred.

As a volunteer-run organisation, we encourage our members to help build a strong and supportive community of practice within the university museums and collections sector with us. See how you can support CAUMAC.

Make sure you are signed up to the CAUMAC mailing list to be informed when the new membership of CAUMAC is launched.

Thank you! Your submission has been received!

Institutional Memberships

Institutional Member (Australia)

Australian universities that have collections or maintain museums or galleries, and support the objects of CAUMAC, may be admitted as an Institutional Member (Australia).

Organisational membership grants access to CAUMAC activities to all current staff and volunteers of the organisation but not enrolled students (see Student Member).

Universities are permitted to maintain multiple organisational memberships (e.g. to represent individual constituent museums within a university) but each membership incurs full organisational membership fees.

These members will be acknowledged in perpetuity as an Institutional Member (Foundation).
